Euromed Clusters Forward, industrial cooperation across the Mediterranean.
A regional programme co-financed by the European Union, deployed across the countries of the southern Mediterranean shore to strengthen industrial ecosystems and accelerate inter-cluster cooperation.
○ Federation commitment · 2025Purpose of the programme
Euromed Clusters Forward brings together the cluster organisations of the southern Mediterranean shore around shared objectives of industrial competitiveness, the pooling of sector-specific expertise and integration into Euro-Mediterranean value chains.
The programme forms part of the European Neighbourhood Policy and recognises the structuring role of national cluster federations as institutional partners for the rollout of sustainable economic cooperation.
Four operational areas
Capacity building
Joint training sessions for federal officers, methodological exchanges and cross-country benchmarks.
Calls for pilot projects
Funding for inter-cluster projects focused on innovation, the ecological transition and industrial inclusion.
Shared monitoring and statistics
A consistent statistical monitoring framework to measure the contribution of clusters to the Mediterranean economy.
Cross-border economic missions
Support for prospecting missions, sector trade fairs and bilateral business meetings.
Benefits for the Moroccan Federation
The commitment of Maroc Clusters to Euromed Clusters Forward forms part of the Internationalisation pillar of the Federation's action. It opens structured opportunities to the eleven member clusters:
- Institutional visibility with European and Mediterranean bodies
- Access to funding dedicated to strengthening the regional productive ecosystem
- Sector partnerships with the clusters of partner countries (Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Algeria)
- Capacity building that strengthens the Permanent Secretariat and cluster officers
- Technical cooperation targeting sectors of common interest (renewables, agri-food, textiles, etc.)
Operational timeline
The Maroc Clusters Federation formalised its commitment in March 2025. The programme unfolds along a multi-year trajectory, with regular milestones and the active participation of the International & Cooperation portfolio of the Federal Council.
News relating to the programme is published in the Federation's News section.
Governance and national coordination
Within the Federal Council, the International & Cooperation portfolio ensures the operational coordination of Moroccan participation in the programme. The Permanent Secretariat handles bilateral requests and orchestrates the economic missions associated with the scheme.
The eleven member clusters benefit from direct access to the programme's opportunities through the Federation, with no prior individual approach to the European bodies.
